Our History
Olympic Range Carden Academy/ORCA was founded in 1997 to educate children in the context of Christian values, as an inter-denominational Christian school, using a strong academic curriculum written by Mae Carden, believing that the acquisition of knowledge must be accompanied by character development.
Research and familiarity with the Carden philosophy were complete by Fall of 1998 and the school opened its doors with Kindergarten/First Grade in the Church of the Nazarene basement. By the end of the year, ORCA had outgrown the space available and had relocated.
The school now offers Kindergarten through the 5th Grade.
